The history of the city of Warkworth and the region is told here through its colonial past and its significant events. There is even a faithful reconstitution of entire rooms, to better stick to the era and go back in time. Next to the museum, two giant kauris dominate the city, including the almost thousand-year-old McKinney (at least 800 years old). To enter Parry Kauri Park, you will have to pass through a treatment lock for your shoes.
