Charlotte's Kitchen acts as the newest kid on the Paihia culinary scene, having only opened in 2015, and yet its success is overwhelming. It has built a solid reputation and loyal clientele, thanks to fairly sophisticated food, good pizzas and a perfect location on the wharf. The cosy, trendy and urban atmosphere is pleasant at any time of the day. They also serve very good coffee. The name comes from Charlotte Badger, the first Australian woman pirate and the first white woman in New Zealand.
