To admire the bay and its 144 islands from the sky with a good dose of adrenaline, you can use the services of Skydive Bay of Islands, which is based at the Bay of Islands airport. Jumps are made at 9,000 feet (2,743 meters), 12,000 feet (3,657 meters), 16,000 feet (4,876 meters) or 18,000 feet (5,886 meters). Depending on your jump, the freefall can last between 20 and 75 seconds. Jumps are possible every day depending on the weather. Photo and video packages are available to immortalize your adventure.
