Mussel Rock Café Bar is one of the few late night establishments in Kaitaia. This place is considered to be the guarantor of the town's atmosphere. The food is decent for lunch with a New Zealand pub cuisine (grills, salads, burgers, pizzas, fries) and a seafood cuisine as its name may suggest. But it is also a meeting place for nightlife at the weekend. The establishment has the habit of organizing music concerts on weekends.
