This small museum of Whaingaroa (the Maori name for the town of Raglan) is located on the first floor of the I-Site, and tells the story of the town and its region through well-designed and informative exhibits. Its rural and urban past is recounted, particularly since the beginning of the 20th century, and surfing is not forgotten. The First World War and endemic birds also receive special attention. The staff are both fascinating and welcoming.
