A symbol of the entire peninsula, it is reached by a path north of Hahei via the cliffs and through the woods, from where there are fine views of the horizon and coastline. Along the way, you'll find other small, pleasant bays, such as Gemstone Bay and the less-frequented Stingray Bay. Once there, the beauty of nature commands respect. Its beautiful white sand beach precedes the imposing boulders rising out of the water, as well as the limestone arches.

Impressionnante arche en pierre qui donne sur une eau turquoise ! La mini rando de 10 minutes vaut vraiment le coup !

Un incontournable dans la Péninsule de Coromandel !
Cathedral Cove c'est une voûte incroyable dans la roche donnant accès à une plage très sympathique en marée basse. Les criques et les plages sont superbes sur ce chemin d'environ 45min.
Il est aussi possible de voir Cathedral Cove depuis la mer en faisant un tour de bateau avec (par exemple) Hahei Explorer Cathedral Cove Boat Tour, ou sinon louez un kayak pour apprécier au mieux ce site incroyable !

La voûte de la Cathedral Cove est vraiment impressionnante. Je recommande d'y aller à marrée basse pour pouvoir l'a traverser.

Une marche, de 45 min aller, sur un joli chemin gravillonné permet d'accéder à une plage à quelques mètre de Cathedrale Cove. Magnifique endroit. La plage à quelques zones ombragées et est très agréable.
