For over 40 years, the Agrodome has offered a glimpse into the world of New Zealand agriculture. Being a farmer here is quite something. It's a highly respected profession and an identity in its own right. Here, you can discover 19 breeds of sheep (we didn't know there were so many!), see how shearing is done, feed a whole host of farm animals (cows, deer, llamas, ostriches...) and watch the dogs at work! A 200% Kiwi experience.

Entrance rates became prohibitory, even if you do not want to visit that closes (with the baby bottle to the lamb). Otherwise you can also attend a presentation of the various breeds of sheep and a demonstration of shearing sheep.
