This excellent hostel a stone's throw from the supermarkets is a great choice for staying in Taupō. Opened in 2015, it has quickly made a name for itself and is known for its relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. The rooms and dormitories (mixed or girls' dorms) are large, well appointed and, for many, have private bathrooms. The kitchen is not very large, but you can eat on the balcony or in the pleasant courtyard. TV room (with Netflix) and free wifi.
