Tongariro River Rafting (TRR) offers a range of adventure formats, from half-day to two-day expeditions. Involved in a conservation project for the whio (Blue duck - endemic duck), they also offer an eco-adventure during which you take part in the animal's protection work by stopping off in certain remote areas to check the network of traps used to control the population of predators endangering the whio. In addition to rafting, they also organize trout-fishing and mountain-biking expeditions.
