SCHNAPPS BAR
At the side of the road, opposite the national park, the atmosphere is very mountain-like in this small village bar. Wood dominates everywhere, from the panelling and framing to the pillars and counter. A fireplace, tartan sofas and a pool table add to the cosy atmosphere. There's also a terrace to enjoy the fine weather. On draught, six products from the Speights brewery (one of the country's classics, the equivalent of 1664 or Grimbergen here) accompany simple pub food, with no surprises, but in good portions.
