This large, wooded YHA sign has an Alpine chalet feel that fits in perfectly with its surroundings. The facilities are not the most modern, but everything is there and the location is almost unbeatable. There are private rooms and small dormitories, with en-suite bathrooms and good bedding. The kitchen-dining room fills up quickly and is an ideal place for hikers to get together. Fun: on-site climbing wall for a fee.
