A very inexpensive campground where you can pitch your tent, park your van or motorhome, or rent a small cabin for added comfort. This is the base for Whanganui River Adventures, so it's an excellent accommodation option if you're planning a tour with this company. A warm welcome from our hosts Ken and Josephine, descendants of local hapu (sub-tribe) and iwi (tribe). Communal areas include a large, well-equipped and pleasant kitchen-living room, and clean, well-maintained sanitary facilities. Excellent value for money.
