Built in 1904, it's one of the city's oldest buildings. Formerly the Hotel de la Gare, it's now a friendly backpacker that has retained the old hotel's well-worn charms. Original linoleum and wallpaper, spacious rooms, plenty of communal areas and free internet make this a good address for budget travelers passing through town. In the heart of downtown, it's also a good base if you want to spend a few days exploring the surrounding area.
