A small Victorian building lost amid the tall buildings of Boulcott Street, this little bistro is sure to catch the eye! The building dates back to 1876, and to enter is to step back in time to Wellington's earliest settlements. The cuisine is contemporary and, although clearly inspired by French bistros, has that typically New Zealand touch that gives it its charm. The meats are varied and well prepared, and the fish is also a success. The setting is quite classy and the service is by the book.
