Opened in 2006, Hawthorn Lounge is "one of Wellington's best-kept secrets". That's how this place describes itself, attracting cocktail lovers and the curious alike. Jazz, green banker's lamps, wooden furniture - the place is very pleasant and takes us back to the "elegant decadence of the 20s", in the midst of the Prohibition movement and attempts to restrict drinking. An attractive cocktail menu offering both classics and modern-inspired cocktails, and always with a special house touch!
