Superb: the 26-hectare botanical garden features a Rose Garden, Begonia House and other flower beds and sculptures. Every summer, during "Garden's Magic", the gardens are illuminated and host free concerts every evening from Tuesday to Sunday. At the foot of the gardens, the old cemetery on Bolton Street is well worth the detour, allowing you to return to the city by extending the walk (or, if you're leaving the city, to extend the walk straight away to go to the gardens!). For a view of the stars, visit the Carter Observatory.

Belle balade pour se mettre au vert, mais mieux vaut prévoir son coup niveau météo ! Beaucoup de pluie et de vent à Wellington, et les 95% du jardin sont à l'extérieur. Les serres sont belles mais très petites. Jolie boutique de cadeaux et souvenirs à l'intérieur des serres.

Belle balade d'une demi journée sur les hauteurs de la ville. les jardins sont très beaux et très colorés, une fois en haut la vue sur la ville est superbe.

Le botanic garden est en hauteur. Vous aurez une vue sur la ville. Vous pourrez y faire un pique nique. C'est vraiment très sympa et grand. On peut y aller en câble car et redescendre à pied. gratuit
