BROADGREEN HOUSE
Built in 1855 for the Buxton couple and their six daughters, Broadgreen Historic House will take you back 170 years! A tour of this cobbled colonial cottage takes you back to the family lifestyle of the Victorian and Edwardian era. It is also a part of Nelson's colonial history that resides here. It has become a heritage house where many period objects are displayed: Kauri buffet, Broadwood piano, lawn chandelier. The place also offers a collection of period costumes as well as a rose garden with 3,000 plants.
