One of the main reasons to come to Kaikōura is to sample delicious seafood, and one of the best places to indulge is Nin's bin. 20 km north of the city, this blue caravan along the road is a must-see. For three generations, this small family-run business has been serving up the region's finest lobsters. By the road, of course, but above all by the sea. The welcome is warm, the food is of excellent quality, and the view of the sea and surrounding coast is splendid.
