Christchurch International Airport (CHC) is the main airport serving the city of Christchurch. It is located 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) northwest of the city center. The airport handles both domestic and international flights operated by Qantas. Qantas international flights (QF1 to QF399) operate from this airport. Check-in times for international flights are 3 hours before departure. For international flights, check-in is recommended at least 2 hours before departure. Online check-in is available for Qantas international flights (QF1-199) and other eligible connecting flights operated by partner airlines. Luggage can be collected from the arrivals hall on the first floor. The domestic and international terminals are in the same building, so it's easy to walk from one to the other.
