Street arts festival in Christchurch. Shows take place every day for 15 days; many are free.

Every summer since 1994, this festival of street performances has plunged the city of Christchurch into a festive, good-natured atmosphere. There's something for everyone in this whirlwind of diverse artistic performances. There are plenty of free shows on offer every day, but some are ticketed and can be quite expensive. A word of advice: in view of the festival's growing popularity, we strongly advise you to reserve your tickets in advance for paying shows!
