Christchurch Attraction offers a variety of activities such as a boat ride on the Avon River, excursions to Hanmer Springs and the Gondola. A 15-minute drive from the center of Christchurch, the Gondola offers panoramic views of the city center, the Southern Alps, the Banks Peninsula and the beauty of the Canterbury Plains. Shuttles (at an additional cost) can be provided daily from the Canterbury Museum. The experience takes about 10 minutes from the Heathcote Valley to Mount Cavendish. There is a small café at the top.

De là-haut, la vue est belle!
Facile d'accès en bus depuis le centre ville, ce point de vue offre des paysages époustouflants sur Christchurch et Littelton. On peut y accèder par le téléphérique. N'hésitez pas à faire la grimpette jusqu'au sommet, près des antennes la vue y est encore plus impressionnante.

impressionnant! vue magnifique sur la ville et possibilité de faire une belle promenade sur la montagne ou de redescendre à pied. exposition et infos sur le volcanisme très bien présentés.

A mon avis, pas grand intérêt de payer pour cette attraction hormis le "fun" de monter dans des œufs. Vous pouvez avoir la même vue (et meme arriver jusqu'à la "gondola track") en passant par Victoria park et en empruntant la Summit Road. C'est gratuit et magnifique
