PEBRAC ABBEY GARDEN
Botanical garden with a dyeing corner, offering a range of original products served on demand.
At the foot of the abbey, the village of Pébrac is home to a magnificent botanical garden with a multitude of plant varieties, some of which are very rare. To be seen, the vegetal wall decorated with falling flowers, at the foot of a solar fountain; the edible flower bed with camomile, antemies, cosmos, sunflowers, nasturtiums, borage and, of course, the eternal roses. A corner is reserved for the dyeing essences: pastel, madder, carnation. To refresh you, a range of original products are served on request: organic syrups of cherry, poppy, rose, melon, violet or mimosa; coffee and infusions of sage, hyssop, agastache; sorbets from the Tuile aux Fées de Lescoussousse with the scents of rhubarb, blueberry, redcurrant ... A small shop offers jams, syrups... At your disposal, a sandbox and a garden for the children, a pumpkin patch for the Halloween parties celebrated here every year. It is best to go there during the flowering period. In a very pleasant setting, this little detour will make you take a deep breath of fresh air.
