As its name indicates, this museum is dedicated to aviation. There are 2 hangars where several aircraft models are displayed, including Tiger Moths, notably some from the Second World War since Ashburton was a training base during the latter. In the long list of aircraft on display: a rare Thompson tanker, a RNZAF Skyhaw, the ZK AMY Southern DC3 airliner. On most Wednesdays, a few members can participate in a restoration workshop.
