Un beau miroir
C'est aussi pour ça qu'on aime la nouvelle zélande, pour ces lacs qui reflètent les montagnes. Le lac Matheson en fait partie. Il sera une très belle halte proche des glaciers Frantz Joseph et Fox Glacier.

Comme déjà dit, venir de bonne heure, si possible par temps clair et beau pour profiter de l'effet "Miroir" du lac et des montagnes. Jolie balade sur un petit chemin bien aménagé et arboré.
