The Fox Glacier Valley Walk (1 hour round trip) leads to the glacier terminal, but attention is paid to the still possible rock falls! The parking, at the start of the Fox Glacier Valley Walk, is one of the spots where elevations (endémiques parrots of mountains) can be observed, superb birds, not really fierce, and who love to take a stand on backpacks and other accessible objects. It is absolutely forbidden to feed these birds.

Promenade is accessible to all and will take you to the terminal of the glacier. The view is quite simply superb. If you are on the west coast, it is a inmanquable (fox glacier)! Indeed, New Zealand is one of the only countries in the world offering to observe glaciers at so low altitude, then your sticks distance and it left!
