Located only 1 km from the city center, Wanaka Bakpaka is a very good and proven place to stay. Established in a 1920s building, this hostel opened its doors more than 30 years ago. The common areas offer a view of the mountains and the whole place is cosy and spotless. The rooms are clean, there is a large equipped kitchen, a garden and a large living room without television to ensure socializing. Bike and mountain bike rentals are free. Ian and Elizabeth, hosts with a passion for travel, offer activities.
