Located on a residential street, Nomads Queenstown Hostel is a sober and affordable hostel. It's just a few minutes' walk from the Skycity Queenstown casino and Shotover Canyon Swing. The dormitories, either mixed or women-only, are simple but comfortable, with bunk beds, lockers and a shared bathroom. Bed linen is provided. Single rooms are also available, and include a mini-fridge, flat-screen TV, tea and coffee-making facilities, and en-suite bathroom. Children are welcome in single rooms. The hostel has a cinema room, lounge with fireplace, sauna, shared kitchen, ski room and free-access computers. Wi-Fi is free throughout. Please note that the hostel is dry, i.e. it is forbidden to bring in alcohol. Due to its central location, it is possible to hear noise from the surrounding bars, especially at weekends.
