On the side of the cliff, you must follow the Tunnel Beach Track before reaching the famous tunnel dug in the rock and go down it to arrive in the beautiful white sand cove of Tunnel Beach. This was the work of a local farmer who wanted to provide beach access for his daughter in the 1870s. It took five years to make this gift a reality. With a colossal natural arch, this is one of the most beautiful places in Dunedin, a little difficult to find though. Watch out for the tide.

A voir !
