The Toitu Otago Settlers Museum is a fun social history museum that traces the history of the city of Dunedin and the Otago region through its early Polynesian inhabitants and the new European arrivals. The museum consists of 14 themed galleries with interactive exhibits and interesting stories. This is your chance to try on Victorian-era Scottish costumes that take you back in time. Musée très complet pour découvrir et comprendre l'évolution de Dunedin depuis l'époque des premiers colons jusqu'à nos jours. Une incroyable collection d'objets d'époque, photos, portaits, vêtements et de mise en scène de vie. Très bien fait et très intéressant. A voir absolument !

Musée assez grand prévoir une bonne après-midi de visite. Histoire des colons et de la vie locale à travers différentes époques. Possibilités d'essayer des costumes (gratuit), etc... Très beau parcours avec une muséographie très intéressante.
