Baldwin Street is the steepest street in the world with an average incline of 20%, 35% in the last few meters of the climb! Every year since 1988, thousands of brave people have been running up and down this steep street in the Baldwin Street Gutbuster race! This consists of several round trips, some have gone as far as 822 climbs! You'll probably come across some die-hard risk-takers who want to try the hill (and the devil at the same time) on a skateboard or bike. The locals use it regularly. A real hill start!
