Located on a twenty-hectare deer farm nine kilometers from Te Anau, Barnyard Backpackers is a good stopover with a ranch-like charm. In all, just under forty people can stay here, in private rooms or in dormitories, where the beds are not stacked. All rooms are in log cabins. There is a shared kitchen, a common living room with a warm fire, a pool table and limited free Wi-Fi. Barnyard can be summed up as: "serenity in a rustic setting".
