An authentic inn with five rooms overlooking the surrounding hills. The cuisine is traditional and homemade, and the menu changes with the seasons. Opt for the cassolette of boneless local pig's trotters or the pavé of Vourzac trout, and finish with homemade profiteroles with chestnuts. A boutique offers carefully selected local products. Aux Portes des Légendes is an inn and B&B located between lakes and mountains in Pradelles. The establishment was created in 2021 by Julien and Valérie. They opened the inn after selling the Pisciculture du Vourzac in 2018. The couple decided to put their experience in management and cooking at the service of local and visiting guests, dedicating themselves to their well-being. Since then, the inn has been offering a pretty, cosy room seating around thirty, where you can dine and enjoy an unobstructed view of Lake Naussac and the Margeride. Here, you'll appreciate our meticulous cuisine and service. You'll enjoy menus that vary with the seasons, presented in different variations such as "Le Printemps Fleurit". Let yourself be tempted, for example, by the potato nest with "Goudoulet Vache", a brick of Velay cow's cheese breaded with hazelnut powder, served with salad. The range of charcuterie from Salaison de Pradelles is also a delight, as is the poultry roulade stuffed with chanterelle mushrooms, followed by grated potato. With the children's menu, your little ones will savor turkey escalope à la crème with mashed potatoes and ice cream, or farm yogurt for dessert. The ingredients on your plates are generally sourced from local producers, such as La ferme du froid in Saint-Rémy-en-Rollat for delicatessen, fresh produce and ice cream. A great place to eat well!
