The church of Prades was part of a priory. Its membership in both the Diocese of Clermont and the Diocese of Puy created some conflicts. They were settled in 1111, the relay being taken by the Chair-Dieu. Built in a red volcanic hole, it was probably built in the th century. It shows its nave and its collatéraux of equal height, with broken doubleaux. The original bedside remains two arcades with tents decorated with bordeaux leaves. The first span of the nave and the western facade were rebuilt in the th century. The northern chapel has beautiful sculptés blood.
