The same concept as its small brother and neighbour, the Crossroads Café, the servers and employees are ex-inmates in a reintegration program (the Delancey Street Foundation). The staff were very friendly and helpful. For the evening, typical American kitchen and excellent cakes (taste chocolate-based, a delight) for a few dollars. A very good address.

Giving it 5 starts because the attention and service are world class, people are extra kind and the food is decent. Can’t complain about this place

I think you can recognize the amazing work that this organization does while also being honest about the experience you will get at the restaurant.

The food was very mediocre but generously portioned. The wait staff were all very friendly but we had to ask for water, our check, and for our card to be returned after paying. If you’re lucky, there’s a nice view of the bay bridge from the front window seating.

Really great food and probably the cheapest high-end restaurant in SF
