Love this place. Great location near theaters, excellent service as always. Room was great as usual and the bar makes a mean Manhattan ????

Oh my gosh I cannot day enough about how amazing this spot was! Great price and the staff was 5 star!! Seriously, so wonderful! And the amenities were wonderful.. you would never have to leave the hotel !

Very clean, very quiet, close to everything and only a 3 block walk to Bart. Their doormen and guest staff are super polite and friendly and they were near to a ton of restaurants, shops, and small grocery stores.

Underwhelmed with this hotel. It was NOT very kid friendly at all. The pool had “adult only” hours 7am-9am and then 5-7pm (ie prime kid swimming time) and kicked out families during this time despite no one else being there…. The room service was also grossly overpriced. $10 USD for Greek yogurt that they didn’t bother taking out of the grocery store packaging. If you don’t have kids, it’s average at best.

Espectacular.

We had a great time at Hotel Nikko SF with a beautiful room booked on the Imperial floors. The staff were all lovely, service was great from everyone we met from the valet, to front desk to the staff managing breakfast at the Imperial Lounge.
We were honestly concerned about the location before we checked in but we had nothing to worry about in our 3d2n at the area. Overall, a 5 stars experience!

Dated but reasonably clean, nice location, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Was here for work, only visited the loading dock

Everybody was so polite and friendly. Everything in my room was so clean and neat, loved the lobby decoration. I was on my own and I felt safe the entire time.

My stay at Hotel Nikko exceeded my expectations!!! The hotel is downtown in a great location: close to cable cars, shopping, resturants, and a Walgreens. The room's size, layout, city view, decor, and cleanliness were all perfect. All staff interactions with valet, front desk, hotel resturant, and housekeeping were all helpful and pleasant.

If you have to stay in San Francisco, Hotel Nikko is one hotel that you may wish to consider. Located within Union Square and adjacent to the Tenderloin, Hotel Nikko is a 4-star hotel with many amenities.

During a recent overnight company event in San Francisco, I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Nikko. The hotel itself was elegant and the staff were very friendly and helpful. As our company event started in the early afternoon, I was pleasantly surprised that my room was already available for check-in.

The room was spacious and well-appointed. There were numerous small touches that really enhanced my stay. From the little spotlights next to the bed for reading, to the "Adopt Me" stuffed puppy (proceeds help the local SPCA), to the complimentary spring waters, I was very pleased with the attention to detail. My room was on the 14th floor and had nice cityscape views. One neat item I had not seen before was the nifty way to signal the housekeeping staff. Usually, hotels will have a door hanger or even a magnet that requests privacy or housekeeping needed. But Hotel Nikko rooms have a small wall plate, about the size of a normal light switch, that operates a small, doorbell-sized outdoor light. Simply press the button for privacy or service and the outer light illuminates your wishes. Pretty cool.

The room also had a subtle but distinctive Japanese motif, from cherry blossom silhouettes on the wall to the sliding bathroom door that resembled traditional Japanese doors with a wooden-lattice feel and paper screens.

Parking was both expensive and difficult. But this is to be expected in San Francisco. Hotel Nikko has underground valet parking but as they were full, I had to use the offsite valet parking up the street.

A very pleasant stay in a very nice hotel. I was sad that it was only for one night. Recommended!

Friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Central location but not my favorite area in SF.

Stayed here February 9-11, 2024 and really like it. Very cozy room with kind receptionists. Clean inside and outside aka curbside area that gives a lot pleasant feeling amidst Union Square area. The gym seems nice but didnt have time to use maybe some other time ❤️

It’s rare to stay at a hotel where the cleanliness never comes into question. Very friendly, professional service across the board and the well-appointed Japanese spa and pool facilities are an attraction on their own.

We stayed for a night and we were impressed by the greeting from all the staff at the hotel. They were nice and helpful. Room quite small but the rest was good.

As we had to catch a late flight so we asked for a late check out and they agreed without extra charge.

Location is great!
