I was disappointed in my stay. We were put in a tiny king room with no bedside table (needed for my cpap, and all other rooms have the tables) and the solution they provided was an old stained folding chair. Our sheets had holes in them, carpets had stains. splatters on the walls. This area of San Fran has gone down hill in the past years, homeless, drug use etc. runs rampant in the area, first day a homeless man was body slammed and pepper sprayed outside the hotel, next day a naked lady suffering from some sort of mental illness rolling around on the ground just a few steps from the door. I would not recommend this hotel or this area of town. stay towards fishermans wharf....

The hotel room was pretty exaggerated in the description, including the fact that there would be robes in the room. Essentially, the room was just a big bed in an extremely small space so when opening a luggage bag it’s practically impossible to move around. It was mostly clean but definitely had previous guests’ hair in more than one place and there was some unknown debris on the pillows. On top of that, the room had a distinct odd smell that actually kept me from sleeping the first night. Perhaps it was from the window air conditioner (which seems inefficient in a location that generally tries to be green). It was nice that they give you a bottle of wine and a couple of snacks. And the front desk was generally friendly until the morning of our checkout when the man was clearly not polite. I wouldn’t stay again but if you’re looking for merely a place to crash that’s close to some shopping and easy to get to restaurants, I’d say give them a try.

My go-to in San Francisco. Great location, clean and comfortable. Ask for a quiet room if you’re a light sleeper- they are always accommodating.

Good place to stay. Rooms on the smaller side and didn't have much storage which is tough for a week long stay. Otherwise no complaints.

Hotel in ottima posizione per raggiungere le zone della città a piedi o con i mezzi, a pochi metri dalla stazione dei cable car. Ci tornerei DOMANI!

I stayed here for a week for a conference, and I loved it. I booked a King Suite, and the room was incredibly large, especially considering the cost. The location of this hotel is amazing. You are a few blocks from Union Square, a few blocks from the Convention Center, and a block away from BART and bus lines. I would 100% stay here again in the future.

Great value for SF. The location is the best part as it's right in the heart of downtown. On the same block as the Bart!

Let me start by saying the hotel is clean and comfortable. Dennis was working the front desk when we got in very late. He knew who we were before I even gave him any info. At almost midnight with a large family, that was awesome customer service. You also receive a free little care package that includes a bottle of wine when you check in. This is a boutique style hotel in a very old building. Everything is small. The rooms are small, the bathrooms are small, and the beds are full sized in the 2 bed rooms. It's the perfect place to be if you want a good location and dont plan to spend a lot of time in your room. If you are looking for ameneities and a huge/elite/commercial hotel room, this is not the place for you. It was perfect for us! Right on the edge of Union Square. Easy access to everything.

Did not like the 40 dollar "resort fee." It is an older hotel but well maintained. Near downtown and Union Square.
