You cannot beat this hotel. Perfect location, friendly staff and the views cannot be beaten! I cannot believe how affordable it was. Definitely upgrade to the corner room - worth it!!!!

Had a really unprofessional experience with the team at Stanford Court Hotel. I stayed here 2 weeks ago and during our check in, we were told that the system was down already. Nevertheless, they charged for a security deposit on my credit card which is now posted and on my statement. Our stay was only for a weekend but it has been two weeks now and the security deposit was never removed/refunded from my credit card. I called twice over the last week and no one was able to check on this issue for me and was getting transferred to other departments that did not even answer my calls. The staff brushed my concerns off, telling me that the charge would just be removed in a few days. They refused to check on this issue for me and just kept feeding me incorrect information. I was informed to reach out to Richard at the Accounting department who did not respond to my e-mail. I was appalled to hear that the person I was speaking with told me that because their computer systems were down during my stay, the hotel needed to "take something" and therefore my card was charged because it was a difficult time for them. I would never stay here again due to the dishonesty and poor customer service. I now have to reach out to my credit card to dispute this fraudulent charge.

Upon arrival the front desk was in a form of chaos as it appears the systems were down just earlier in the day. It took a little longer to get checked in. I received my key to the fifth floor and walked into SOMEONE ELSES OCCUPIED ROOM and interrupted a couple who was staying in there. I have never experienced this while staying at a hotel, let along a “luxery hotel”. It was incredibly uncomfortable as a solo female traveler. The hotel staff didn’t seem alarmed or concerned by this after I immediately notified them. I was given a free breakfast coupon… which is insanity… in return for this that I couldn’t use as the kitchen was closed during my only time available in the morning…. My room was changed and I was moved up a floor. The room views were good. There is no microwave in the room and a tiny beverage holder to keep a couple drinks cold. The shower door was almost impossible to open and close as glider on the top seemed to not be set correctly or jammed/ungreased. It took my full force to open and close the door trying to be careful as its all full glass panels. The parking valet gave me a hard time for not presenting my ticket the first morning and the pull in area is incredibly small. The last morning valet parked my truck so close to another vehicle I could barely get in the driver door and didn’t adjust my seat setting back. I would never consider staying at this hotel again.

This hotel was perfect. Spacious rooms, lovely bar area. Great location and friendly staff.
This was our first time in San Francisco and we loved it. Hotel is in a great location. Restaurants and shopping all within walking distance. Tram stops outside and bus around the corner.

Excellent hotel in a perfect location! Everything we had on our itinerary was either within walking distance or a short uber ride away. The area was clean and we felt very safe walking in the areas adjacent to the hotel.
Rooms were clean and spacious. Beds were extremely comfortable. We appreciated the daily room tidying as it's not something often done at hotels these days.
There were so many small details that just made the hotel feel like a truly boutique experience - awesome gym, filtered water bottle filling stations, heated towel rack, nice toiletries, the list goes on and on.
The entire staff here were just fabulous! Always kind and helpful! Everyome truly seemed to go above and beyond to make our stay great!

Well placed and well priced.

Great for one night, but wouldn’t want to stay much longer. Room felt fresh and newly renovated. But odd layout.

Comfortable bed and good amount of space in room, with usb plugs by bed.

Staff friendly and attentive. Happy to hold your bags after check out. Good space for unloading and parking whilst checking in.

Slow elevators, and odd carpets would be only cons.

Lovely hotel and the team are all very friendly and so helpful. We were given a room with amazing views, thank you. Enjoyed chatting with Manuel in the bar who provided great wine recommendations and the burger was banging! Hotel is in a great location, if you like a quieter area. All the places we usually visit are within easy reach. My only minor suggestion is if the atmosphere could be improved. Would highly recommend and will stay again.

The rooms were ok. However only one elevator functioned during our stay which made getting in and out the hotel very unpleasant. Their restaurant service was bad, they tried to charge us a different price than said in their menu and when we questioned the waiter just wanted to argue about it!

the entire staff was wonderful. front desk was understanding of our super late check-in. We were granted a late late check-out at no extra charge. My 7 year-old & friend felt rich and famous by the royal treatment we received. The staff was super accommodating and friendly. Location location location. Loved everything about our stay at the Stanford Court Hotel. Can't wait to stay again. Excllent!

Perfect hotel in the centre of everything. Tour group pickup is either at the hotel or close by. Trolly right outside which was convenient. The food was very good and hit the spot after our long days of adventure. Manuel at the bar was exceptional. The beds were sooooo comfortable. The only thing I wish was that water pressure in the shower was a little better. Overall I will be visiting again.

Great value hotel. My room was well cleaned every day, the view I had from the corner was amazing, the room was more than spacious enough. Small downside is the waiting time for the elevators and the long walk to my room (opposite corner of the elevators). Would definitely recommend.

Room is spacious and well designed but windows are shut and dust is constantly in the air. It’s a nightmare if you have asthma.

For the price, I would also expect to have a water boiler in the room.

The location is very good.
