It's the most famous gourmet break on the West Coast. Californians love it! Located in San Francisco's Water Park, between Fisherman's Wharf and the Golden Gate, the famous chain was founded in 1852 by an Italian chocolatier, Domenico Ghirardelli. Today, it's a far cry from the small artisan chocolate factory, but the recipe is still good. It's a city institution (renovated in 2023). The specialty: the gargantuan Earthquake ice cream.

Ce petit quartier avec tous ces magasins est charmant. Les chocolats sont excellents! Je recommande vivement celui au caramel salé. Nous en avons acheté pour toute la famille tellement ils sont bons. A ne surtout pas manquer lors de votre séjour à SF.

Les différents magasins méritent un détour. Celui situé à SF, est tentant par les différents chocolats présentés. Y déguster une glace ou un chocolat chaud en regardant l'océan est un véritable plaisir après avoir patientez pour obtenir une table. Prévoyez une attent d'une demi-heure. La preuve du succès.
