We were greeted by a lovely man upon arrival and were given a great room with all the amenities that we needed. We missed out on the happy hour that evening because we had plans, but when we did make it back to the hotel that evening we were given delicious, warm cookies. The bed was cozy and breakfast the next morning was a good start to the day. The hotel is located in a very quaint part of town and was a great way to start our girls’ trip.

This is a FANTASTIC place to stay in an especially fantastic location. With its low number of rooms, breakfast and evening wine spread, I would say it’s has more of a bed and breakfast feel than a hotel. One thing that impressed me was how the staff displays a sense of pride and ownership while working. I specifically appreciated Tom
A few things to note before your stay
1) The building is old and NOT sound proofed at all so noise from the hallway is horrendous. I solved this by turning on white noise on YouTube
2) There is very little lighting in the bathrooms. So either bring your own light or unplug a floor lamp and relocate it to the bathroom
3) There aren’t too many outlets so make sure and bring maybe an electrical strip?

Have a great time!

This is a wonderful hidden gem tucked away in Tiburon. I can’t even begin to describe how much we enjoyed our stay! Our host Tom was delightful and saw to our every wish. The room and breakfast were perfection. The wine and cheese bar was top notch and generous. And the deck overlooking the bay was the most relaxing part of our entire coastal vacation.

This is a somewhat unconventional review of the Waters Edge, as I ended up having to cancel my reseveration there due to COVID. My husband and I were *so* excited to stay at this beautiful, waterfront hotel, but alas, it was not to be this time around. I just wanted to write to say how lovely and kind their management was in working with us to cancel the reservation, particularly Anna Marten, the operations manager. We travel to San Francisco several times per year for work and we are looking forward to planning a stay at the Waters Edge. Thank you so much for your kindness when it mattered most. We'll see you soon!

Great location right on the water in Tiburon. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was small but nice and felt bigger due to the high ceiling. Fireplace was a nice touch, as well as the small single seat balcony. The only things that kept it from a full 5 stars was that the bathroom wasn't quite as clean as I would have liked (hairs in the tub, dirty grout) and that it was a bit overpriced for what you get. Granted, it's a small touristy town, but there just wasn't much to do once the sun went down, so the lack of a hotel bar or any room service was a bit of a disappointment. Their deck was great place to relax and enjoy the views and walking around the docks nearby was enjoyable, as well. Evening wine and cheese and cookies were a bonus, as well as the complimentary breakfast brought right to your door in the morning.

This is probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Breakfast in bed, wine and cheese in the evenings, warm cookies before bed, and incredible views on the patio. The rooms have real fireplaces, and it’s located on the cutest street surrounded by really lovely restaurants. Can’t wait to come back!

SO many positives about staying here! The service is outstanding!! Location is A++. Next door to Sam's, in the middle of the tiny downtown of shops & check out the very-close-by cool little movie theatre too!. Our room was clean, good-sized with a fireplace, refer, microwave and a lovely rooftop lounge in the sun. The little nicesties that are included: bikes to ride, wine & cheese happy hour, cookies in the evening, continental breakfast delivered to your room, and friendly staff aiming to please. Great place.
