Mediterranean and mainly Italian inspired cuisine, with a nice menu mixing seafood and meats.

Mediterranean cuisine and mainly Italian inspired, with a nice menu turned towards the ocean: mussels with white wine, linguine with seafood, scallops with asparagus... But also a lamb ossobuco, pasta carbonara, risottto with wild mushrooms... The wines are delicious, the small terrace is very pleasant, flowers are placed everywhere and even in the plates, the tables are spaced the ones of the others, Franck Sinatra coos in mute... Charming and romantic ! Well, it's a bit expensive, but when you like...

Everything was too salty and greasy. Sauces were too overwhelming.

Potato gratin was served cold. The lamb osso buco was overcooked. Vegetables were clearly previously frozen from a bag. It’s just overpriced diner food. Also our wine took 15 minutes to get to our table with three servers walking around who kept going outside randomly. Lastly, the tiramisu was just bad- over sugared and in the fridge from days ago.

This was our first visit to Carmel and we ate here one evening. The staff was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was good energy and with a lot of patrons. We weren't as happy with the food. The truffle risotto was a bit too strong in flavor (truffle oil) and the pasta in the seafood linguine was way overcooked and tough. The wines were good in any case.
