Located on the ruins of the house that Orson Welles built for Rita Hayworth, the Nepenthe is as legendary as the couple. The restaurant is cosy but, curiously, the food is honest, without more. You can have a steak and French fries for about thirty dollars. In the evening it is a little more expensive, about fifty dollars for a piece of meat and vegetables. In fact, we especially want to advise you to pass there for the aperitif in order to take advantage of the breathtaking view on the Pacific Ocean from the big terrace.
