This is the least expensive resort in Big Sur, and yet it's magnificent, especially its pale-blue swimming pool set in a pretty green setting. A river runs through the middle, adding to the charm of this enchanting bucolic setting. Some of the mountain rooms are panelled like a soft cocoon in summer and winter, while others are more modern and simple, yet well-equipped, all with pleasant private terraces. The whole is charming and the services complete: restaurant with pretty terrace, bar with an old bus... A real favorite.
