OLD FAITHFUL GEYSER
Yellowstone Park geyser projecting hot water from more than 30 m high and presenting an explanatory craft exhibition
This geyser in Yellowstone Park, which shoots scalding water up to a height of about 100 feet every 40 minutes, is a delight for young and old alike. It has had a million eruptions, each lasting up to 5 minutes, since it was discovered in 1870 by the Washburn expedition. Children will appreciate the explanatory handicraft exhibition as well as seeing llamas and goats in the small zoo. The plus : some evenings, in summer, live music, you can bring your picnic.
