SNOW LEOPARD CONSERVANCY
The Snow Leopard Conservancy is a non-profit organization based in Sonoma, California. Founded in 2000, it works in partnership with local communities in eight of the twelve countries where snow leopards live to ensure their survival. Their mission is to raise environmental awareness and share innovative practices through community cooperation and partnerships. The association is also involved in projects such as coexistence with snow leopards in Nepal, improving access to veterinary resources in the high mountains, and resolving conflicts between humans and predators. The Snow Leopard Conservancy also organizes nature tours to observe snow leopards and takes part in art and poetry competitions.
