Stayed at this hotel recently. Had no problem booking a room nor checking in. The staff were very friendly and willing to assist. The rooms were very clean, and we had a great stay. It's located near Wine Country so every day was a great day lol. Would absolutely recommend for a stay!
It was a fine hotel but we will not stay here again on our next trip to Sonoma.
Pros:
- amazing location
- cost (compared to other hotels in the area)
- charming, historic feel
Cons:
- very small rooms
- no free breakfast (as advertised on google search)
- horrendous shower water temperature; one minute you are standing in freezing water & the next you’re jumping out of the tub to avoid 3rd degree burns from the scalding water
- no elevator
- bare bones in terms of accommodations (no housekeeping, no ironing board, tiny closet)
- felt more like a hostel or B&B; not a ton of privacy as you can hear everything going on in the hall & downstairs
- no parking & it can be difficult to find a spot nearby during the weekend
Located on the square in the middle of Sonoma it is very convenient to restaurants, wine and shopping. Rooms are very small and plainly decorated. Carpets in the hallways and stairs are worn. The mattress in our room was uncomfortable and sunk in making it feel like you were about to roll off. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Terrible!! I felt like we were staying in a hostel. You heard every single guest and every noise. We could hear the guests next to us taking like they were in our room. Didn’t sleep at all. Completely overpriced and a waste of a night away :(
Charming, boutique, historic hotel located right on the Sonoma square! There is much to be said for all this! There are downsides for which you need to be prepared. I stayed a week in Sept. 2022. The hotel is without housekeeping or baggage assistance. If you’re upstairs you need to be able to walk stairs and carry your luggage. While historic, the hotel is in need of some TLC and frankly carpeting should not be historic, which it is. My room was small with a full and twin bed. I was glad I was solo. No in-room coffee, but it was available out front each morning. There is no parking connected to the hotel. You’re on your own with street parking. Unlike some other reviewers I had no issue with a/c, hot water or water volume. All were perfectly fine. The bed and pillows were quite comfortable. While there was noise from the patio of the adjacent restaurant and traffic, sleep sounds on my phone took care of it nicely.
Excesivamente caro para lo que ofrece
