It's the little brother of Sonoma's Girl and Fig, at least in size. Because in reality the Fig Café is the first of the family. Intimate atmosphere and refined decor for this restaurant that serves excellent quality French-inspired cuisine: asparagus au gratin, beef bourguignon, mussels and French fries with pastis... You won't feel out of place! Large list of wines from the region and Europe. You'll find some of your favorite dishes from the Sonoma restaurant. A Glen Ellen classic, and very popular with the locals.

we ordered wines by the glass and not cheap at $16 average per glass...food was delivered without a long wait but both entrees were luke warm not hot!!! one was sent back and was just average in taste, nothing special. Steak frites was fine...we ordered the brownie sundae for dessert and it was just ok, nothing out of this world. they charge $5 for bread if you order some so you know.
waiter kindly took off one entree off the bill after my friend barely ate any of it, taste was too greasy.
An overall average experience for this once great place we had visited 10 years ago.
too bad.
I really appreciated the portions, and that they were willing to split the entrées between me and my partner without any hassle. The wine list is also above reproach. Great variety of Sonoma county and external wines. Looking at you Bonny Doon from Aptos.
When we come back to Glen Ellen, this will be on the list to visit again.
