We only ate at the restaurant. The price was hefty with 20% per person gratuity included in the tab. I mean the service was decent but I wasn’t even asked if I needed any refills and neither was my wife. The food was ok and our friends ordered the fish. I believe it was a Thai seasoning. I expected more from the menu but it was definitely different from what you would expect.
We like the older part of the hotel, with rooms that are a bit rustic if not dated, some with wood burning fireplaces. Great views, a nice bar and restaurant on site. A comfortable inn in a great location.
Love the view. Room service for breakfast great. Not thrilled about $10 for a microwave. Takes forever to get hot water. Old toilet, so low you can hardly get up. Beds great!! Very nice place all around. Will definitely come back.
Beautiful ocean views excellent food and Great Service nice friendly people you can play golf, Tennis or Paddle board and the have a Spa also great room service to
I drove up from SF looking for a quiet getaway and the Little River Inn did not disappoint. The location is over looking the water and has absolutely stunning views. We opted for a room with a fireplace and ocean view - the room was clean and very spacious. We grabbed a drink at the bar before heading into town for dinner - the bartender/staff in general were all lovely & had plenty of recommendations for things to do in town. Would definitely suggest this spot to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay up north.
My wife and I stayed in the Llama cottage for our honeymoon with our two dogs. We absolutely loved our time there and were sad to leave! Everyone was so nice and our room was extremely cozy! Thank you Little River Inn for being such a special part of our honeymoon. We can’t wait to come back!
We had a great stay and I think we want to come back in December.
The grounds are very nicely kept. Rooms are very clean. The staff are welcoming and kind. Easy access to everything and everywhere you need to go while in Fort Bragg.
The restaurant is great.
Spoke to the manager, Tara, super cool.
Told her they need to get bigger coffee mugs for the rooms ????
Overall this is place is a gimmick. The private hot tub is nice but for 600 dollars a night you would expect other parts to be nice too. We were woken up at 8am with five trucks outside our window including a wood chipper. This made it impossible to enjoy the jacuzzi in the morning with 10 people shouting right next to it. When we called the front desk they got them to eventually stop an hour and a half later but made no concessions and blamed the workers and proceeded to make me feel absurd for being upset.
There were also worms in the indoor bathtub and both room service meals were delivered cold. This was not how we had hoped to be spending the first morning of our honeymoon. We will not be returning and would never recommend any one staying here, you are better off going to an actually nice place and finding a separate spa.
Magical location and we had a magical stay. We spent 3 nights in the Brackenwood room in the cottages and I couldn’t recommend it more. The room is mostly updated, clean, comfortable bed. Sitting area in front of a large TV and gas fireplace but we spent more time on the patio rocking chairs or wonderful hot tub. The bathroom could use an update but it wasn’t distracting at all. Small shower with good water pressure. Room service meals were great as well. The only issue to flag is that because you are on the coast, cell coverage is horrible and in your room you have to rely on wifi but the wifi is not predictable and would go down for a few minutes periodically. If you have a mission critical zoom meeting I would plan around that but generally we were able to stream and download as needed. Overall we had a 5 star stay and will be back.
Our family’s of four spent a night at Little River on our way to the Redwood forest. We were blown away by the beautiful ocean view (we booked the ocean view room). So picturesque ! My husband and I had wine and watched sunset on the deck, The room was spacious for two queen beds and a large bathroom. The only downside is that toilet is rather small. The landscape is also beautiful and neat! The beach is within a walking distance and my boys enjoyed the splashing at the sandy beach. Will definitely come back again.
A great find along the PCH on our #oneplanetoneyear road trip. We stayed in room 161 - ask for that. The best view of them all. Big room, quiet, great view from the patio, a fireplace, jacuzzi bath (with bath salts), and the best hotel art above the fireplace ever. Fun fellow guests and colorful locals at the bar and still family owned. Ole convinced his wife to let him turn the front living room into a bar years ago for his friends. The rest is history and it's the same bar. Add in the wonderful, funky, 9-hole golf course attached to the property and you will have a nice time. There's gas, a small restaurant, the post office, and a small general store across the street. This is a place to relax, golf, hike, read a book, and marvel at the scenery.
