Camping: 4 campsites (three in the forest, one on the coast). Two campsites are open all year round (Jedediah Smith and Elk Prairie). Two others are open from May to September (Gold Bluffs Beach and Del Norte Coast Redwoods). The park also has some non-equipped campsites for hikers and cyclists (request for free camping permission at Visitor centers). You will also find campsites at the exit of the park along routes 101 and 199. The visitor centres have the list.

Reservations: Most locations work on the "first come, first served" rule from October to April. From May to September, the reservation is required at www.reserveamerica.com (except for Gold Bluffs Beach). All campsites are equipped with toilets, hot water, picnic tables and safe spaces for wood fires.
