The Sacramento Regional Transit District, also known as SacRT, is the agency responsible for public transportation in the city since 1973. Good quality compared to other cities in the United States, it is made of a network of trains, buses but also cabs, Amtrak and shuttles to the airport. Moreover, the prices are reasonable and even half price for young people and students. However, the car remains the easiest way to get around the city.
