Can't say enough about how good the dishes and cocktails were. Their menu changes, so ask the waiter for the "new experiences" in their menu. We did, and the recommendations were on point! The main dishes were heavenly; and the desserts had so much layers of subtle flavors--incredible!
Must have mains: Crispy Lamb,
Salmon. Don't skip desserts: Penna Cotta, Hummingbird
Man-O-Man I'll tell you, that Ella sure puts out a spread! I had some baked ham and it was Spectacular!
5 stars all day long. ☆☆☆☆☆
We made a reservation for valentines day and they had a special 5 course valentines menu. All the food was fantastic and unique in both flavor and execution.
On the appointed day, we arrived at the restaurant, which is located in the city center and lacks parking spaces or staff to take care of parking your car. After searching for parking around the area, we entered the restaurant at 1:35. Ahead of us, there were a couple of guys being attended to by the administrator. She took at least 5 minutes with them before refusing them service, forcing them to leave. By the time it was our turn, it was 1:39, and the administrator refused to seat us on the grounds that we did not arrive at 1:30 and their kitchen was already closed. But in reality, we were not late. We simply had to leave. It was Valentine's Day, and of course, we couldn't find a decent place to have a romantic lunch with my girlfriend.
I have been to many restaurants around the world, from simple to luxurious, including exclusive ones with Michelin stars, and I have never encountered such rude treatment of customers. This is the worst service I have ever experienced; you would get far better service at a McDonald's than at this place. I will never come here again and will never recommend this place to anyone.
The service was good. Only weird thing is no table cloths which is weird for a fine dining establishment. I suggest if you are drinking to get a gin and tonic. Delicious!
